IKEA commits Rs 3000 crore investment in Gujarat

Global home furnishings giant IKEA has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government which entails an investment of Rs 3000 crore in the long term to set up large format retail stores in the state. Nearly double-digit exports growth rate in 2017-18

Exports during 2017-18 have been valued at US $ 302.84 billion which marks a growth of 9.78 per cent in dollar terms vis-à-vis 2016-17. Indian exports figure had stood at US $ 275.85 billion during 2016-17.
