Plantation drive by Indus Towers

Indus Towers organized a plantation drive on the 25,000 sq. ft. land sanctioned by Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), at DLF Cyber City on the occasion of World Environment Day. The site is adjacent to its corporate office (near Rapid Metro pillar 93A and 93B) where the leadership team of the company, accompanied by other employees planted 100 saplings to support the cause of environment preservation. Since the adoption of the Green Belt in 2016, Indus Towers has already planted over 150 trees, along with thousands of plants and bushes.

HUL to merge food and refreshment business

In a recent statement to the stock exchange, FMCG market leader Hindustan Unilever has conveyed merging its foods and refreshments business into one division. The change will become effective from July this year. “This integration will help HUL increase organisational agility and better serve local consumers while harnessing the advantage of global scale,” HUL statement said. Dedicated fertilizer facility at Kandla port gets green signal

The Standing Finance Committee of Ministry of Shipping has recently cleared a project for setting up an exclusive, fully mechanized handling facility for fertilizer cargo at Deendayal Port in Kandla.  The facility will be developed at berth number 14 of the port, which is being constructed   at an approximate cost of Rs.138 crore.
