Ministry of Shipping in association with Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushal Yojana (DDU-GKY), Ministry of Rural Development recently conducted a one-day workshop on “Skill Development in the Port and Maritime Sector” in New Delhi. The workshop was inaugurated by Secretary (Shipping) Gopal Krishna and  Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament from Andaman and Nicobar. A trade report released by AP Moller-Maersk recently has underlined a major turnaround in India’s containerised trade in the first quarter of 2018.
