Some of the leading brands from ITC like Aashirvaad Atta and Sunfeast Bingo have helped the company to add another Rs 2000 crore to its topline in FY18. The company’s revenue in the previous fiscal has crossed Rs 16,000 crore with eight of its leading product categories contributing over $2 billion in a cumulative sense. These brands are now contributing nearly 80 percent of the company’s revenue. According to a national daily report, the company has reveled this in a recent investor presentation.
Aashirvaad Atta has been the leading product category in the company’s portfolio as its sales crossed Rs 4,000 crore. Sunfeast biscuits reportedly fetched revenue in the range of Rs 3500 crore. The strengthening of atta brand has been attributed to the recent launch of multiple variants. During FY 2018, the company also forayed in ghee and spices.
