Arvind aiming to touch Rs 10,000 crore topline mark

Much known for its denim offerings, Ahmedabad-based domestic textile major Arvind is aiming at a major jump in its topline in the next four-five years.  According to a report by news agency PTI, Arvind is targeting to touch Rs 10,000 crore revenue figure in the medium run.

“Overall the textiles business for us is around Rs 6,000 crore and we would take it to Rs 10,000 crore over the next 4 to 5 years,” Aamir Akhtar, Arvind Ltd CEO Lifestyle Fabrics told  the news agency while emphasizing that the company will continue to maintain CAGR growth of 16 percent in the coming years. For further capacity expansion of its existing units, the company has also planned to invest around Rs 1500 crore in the near to medium run.
