UPS welcomes trilateral agreement between US, Canada and Mexico

Global logistics giant UPS has applauded the trilateral agreement recently signed between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico for modernizing their trade ties. The US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) brings the trilateral agreement into the 21st century with provisions that will boost economic growth and promote job creation.

“The new USMCA will help to take time, cost and complexity out of trade between the United States, Mexico and Canada,” said David Abney, Chairman and CEO of UPS.

“Specifically, the agreement will significantly improve customs regulations, spur the growth of e-commerce through new digital trade rules and support the participation of more small businesses in regional and global supply chains,” he added.
