Adani Ports deliver 50 GE locomotives to Indian Railways

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) recently concluded a major project – import and dispatch of 50 General Electric Transportation (GE) locomotives from its Mundra port for the Indian Railways. The locomotives were manufactured by GE Electromotive Division in the United States and imported at Mundra port. Between February and November this year, the company dispatched 50 locomotives from Mundra to the Roza Loco Shed of Indian Railways. Israeli firm signs five year contract for supply of Potash

ICL, a leading global specialty minerals and specialty chemicals firm has recently signed a five-year supply agreement with Indian Potash. Mixed trends in leather industry exports growth

The leather goods industry has seen mixed trends in the exports of their produce in the recent years. According to Council for Leather Exports (CLE) recent data, the manufacturing based export of leather, leather products and footwear from India marginally increased from USD 5.65 billion in 2016-17 to USD 5.74 billion in 2017-18, growing by 1.65%. The exports showed decline of 9.84% and 3.56% in Dollar Terms during 2015-16 and 2016-17 respectively.
