Logistics Division in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry has invited comments and suggestions on the Draft National Logistics Policy from the stakeholders in the logistics sector and from the public on various aspects of the policy. Odisha waterways to carry 200 lakh tonnes of cargo

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Shipping, Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, recently visited Odisha and in a public meeting emphasized union government committed to develop all modes of transportation in the state. Over 20 percent sales growth in commercial vehicles

The apex body of vehicle manufacturers in the country SIAM recently released nine-month sales figure for the current fiscal. And here commercial vehicles seem to have registered the best growth across all segments. The industry produced a total 26,260,121 vehicles including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, three wheelers, two wheelers and quadricycle in April-January 2019 as against 23,907,502 in April-January 2018, registering a growth of 9.84 percent over the same period last year. FSC reports over 40% jump in quarterly revenue

Future Supply Chain Solutions (FSC), the logistics arm of the domestic retail giant Future Group, has posted 43.2 percent jump in its revenue in the quarter ending December 31st, 2018. During the period, the company earned a revenue of Rs 332.6 crore as against Rs 232.3 crore in the same quarter in the previous fiscal.
