Global logistics giant DP World has signed up golf legend Ian Poulter as the brand’s first Global Ambassador. The company recently confirmed this in a press release.
DP World’s partnership with the European Tour and ten-year flagship association with the DP World Tour Championship has helped the company to connect in a meaningful way with partners and customers in a variety of locations around the world, the release maintained.

Ian Poulter is widely credited with inspiring a younger generation of European players to take up the game. A talismanic figure in Europe, the iconic golfer boasts ten European Tour, two WGC, and one other PGA Tour victory. The PGA Tour victory came in 2018 at the Houston Open which qualified him for The Masters 2018. Poulter went on to qualify for this year’s Masters as well where he tied an excellent 12thposition. Furthermore, Poulter’s Ryder Cup record has cemented his reputation as a hero in European golf.
