Mahindra Logistics to manage 2 distribution centers for Volkswagen

Domestic 3PL major Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) has further strengthened its association with the Volkswagen Group India, one of India’s leading car manufacturers.  MLL will manage the first of its kind Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) of the Volkswagen Group, India at NCR and Bangalore.

As part of the new arrangement, MLL will manage more than 200000 sq. ft. of warehousing space and PDC operations, servicing the Volkswagen Group, India through a variable and scalable model. Both state-of-the-art warehouses are specially designed and equipped with customized storage, diverse Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and the very latest in technological solutions.

MLL currently services the inbound and outbound transportation of spare parts from Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in Chakan, Pune – including export and import, In-plant Logistics, Just in Time (JIT) & Just in Sequence (JIS) at the Volkswagen Group production facility in Chakan, Pune.
